Schaardt Auction Service is proud to present the Kay Ebeler Online Estate Auction. This auction features a very nice lineup of estate items including a 2003 Chevrolet S10 Pickup, beautiful vintage furniture, household goods, antiques, collectibles, décor, sewing-related items, and much more. Kay taught Home Economics for many years and was an avid sewer with a true appreciation for quality items and well-kept furnishings. This auction offers a wonderful selection of unique and hard-to-find pieces along with practical household items.
The online auction will begin to close at 6:00 PM on Thursday, May 21. Be sure to browse the complete catalog and place your bids early.
AGREEMENT TO TERMS: By bidding in the auction, you agree to all terms and conditions of the auction.
BUYER PREMIUM: 15% Buyers Premium on all Lots.
ALL ITEMS SELL AS-IS WHERE-IS WITH ALL FAULTS & FLAWS: Items sell with no warranty stated or implied. Items have not been tested by the auction company unless it is stated in the item description. Items may have slight cosmetic damage from shipping, which could include cracks, paint chips, and scratches. Some items may be return items and could contain minor flaws. If obvious mechanical flaws are noticed, they may be disclosed, but every function of every item is not tested. Bidders are strongly encouraged to inspect items prior to bidding.
PAYMENT: Invoices are due by Friday, May 22 at 5:00 PM. We accept CASH, CHECK, and WIRE TRANSFERS. Any invoice over $5,000 must be paid by wire transfer and will incur a $20 wire fee. Invoices under $5,000 may be paid by cash, check, or credit card with a 3.5% convenience fee. Credit card payments should be completed online prior to pickup. Returned checks will incur a $50 fee. No items will be released until payment has been made. Any unpaid invoice after Friday, May 22 at 5:00 PM will be subject to a $25 per day late fee.
Nebraska sales tax of 5.5% will apply where applicable. Additional local taxes may also apply. Tax exempt buyers must provide a completed Nebraska Form 13 unless already on file with the auction company.
LOADING & PICKUP: Items must be picked up on Friday, May 22 from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. NO EXCEPTIONS. Items not picked up during the scheduled loadout times will be considered forfeited and bidders may be banned from future auctions. Buyers are responsible for bringing their own loading assistance.
STAGGERED CLOSING: This auction features a soft close. Any bid placed within the final minute of a lot will extend bidding on that item by 1 minute. Five lots will close every 1 1/2 minutes until all lots are sold.
GROUPED LOTS: Certain similar lots may be grouped together and close simultaneously. If bidding occurs on one of the grouped lots, all lots within that group will extend.
INSPECTION: All items are available for inspection prior to the auction. Buyers are encouraged to inspect items and determine condition before bidding. It is solely the buyer’s responsibility to inspect and bid accordingly.
NONPAYING BIDDERS: Nonpaying bidders will be banned indefinitely from participating in future Schaardt Auction Service auctions. Any losses, legal fees, or collection expenses incurred due to nonpayment will be the responsibility of the buyer.
CATALOG DISCREPANCIES: Buyers are bidding on the described item, not the photograph. Descriptions are believed to be accurate but are not guaranteed. All sales are final with no refunds.
TITLED ITEMS: A $25 title fee will apply to any titled item. Titles will be mailed by certified mail within 21 days after payment and pickup are completed.
Schaardt Auction Service reserves the right to withdraw or re-catalog items, extend or modify closing times, or cancel the auction if necessary due to technical or operational issues. All sales are final upon certification by Schaardt Auction Service.
